AUTHORS: Nakaweesa Rosette, Strategic Information and Learning, (Population Services International); Baker Lukwago, Peter Buyungo. PRESENTING AUTHOR: Nakaweesa Rosette. PRESENTING AUTHOR’S EMAIL ADDRESS: rnakaweesa@psiug.org Background: The use of family planning methods in both private and public facilities is influenced by demographics as indicated in the Women of Reproductive Age facility exit survey 2018 conducted by Population Services International- Uganda. Methodology: Women aged 15-49 years exiting public and private health facilities were interviewed to facilitate representation by the required demographics. Key findings: Most people in urban areas access them from private while most people in rural areas access them from public. More youth access them from public, more adults (25-39 years) access them from private. Conclusion: People in rural areas and the youth need more access to family planning services.
