Elias O. Wahab, Lagos State University

Thematic factors like gender, life expectancy at birth, rate of population aging, demographic correlates among others were examined. Recounting perspectives involve rethinking retirement, projected supports from children, social supports system, financial issues, economic inequality, 2014 pension Act among others. Result indicates that population aging as a quiet revolution, has major implications on the social system, as such poverty is further exacerbated.
